Couple of Interesting Sites
Here's two literary-ish sites to follow. Cool/regular-weekly stuff going on at this site:
Pattinase: http://pattinase.blogspot.com/
And, really honest, honest writing/articles/beauty here at the Fiction Circus website. It seems that most writers just want to kiss each other's asses these days . . . in hopes that the ass they kiss today might be connected to the small press publisher of tomorrow. It's sad, but many writers strike me as confrontation-free. They don't want to offend anyone. Keep my nose clean, network like crazy, get 1000+ "friends" on Facebook, and maybe a few more of my "experimental" fictions will get published. I don't understand the writing clique. Writers should offend. Writers shouldn't all like each other. More than anything, writers should be honest...and not give overblown reviews of each other's work.
So, want some honest/we-don't-really-care-who-we-offend thinking/writing?
Well, check out the Fiction Circus (before the AWP shuts them down for meanness)
