Weird

Well, I don't know exactly how it happened, but a story of mine that was published in Existere ended up on a high school competency exam in Quebec. As I understand it, hundreds of students had to read my story and then write about its themes. Apparently, someone in the Ministry of Education chose the story, and now it sounds like I'm going to be paid some royalties.

This is true.

Friggin' bizarre.

I love Canada!

That's pretty much the most amazing (and strange) thing I've heard today. Congrats!

Congrats, Jeff.

Odd that they didn't get it okayed thru you first.

And by the way, which story?

And how about re-posting it here.

Hi John,

Actually, since it looks like the Ministry of Education is going to be using the exam through the fall, I can't mention the story or post it.

I'm still waiting to hear what the actual royalty amount will be.

Good to hear from you. Hope you are well.

Jeff
