Milestone
Well, it happened today; I reached another goal. I have sold 450 copies of my novel, Into the Desperate Country to date. My goal of 500 by next June seems like a possibility. You can help. Email me and ask about a discounted copy: jcvandez@delta.edu. Books make great Christmas gifts.

Unfortunately, the vast majoirty of my friends are more likely to be found huddled near a CD player than a book. My family, on the same hand, are likely to be found slipping a DVD in a reader and capturing enteraintment that way.
But, I do know one person, my mother's friend, who read quite a bit. I will direct her to your site. I'm not sure which genre she fancies, but I know she is an avid reader.
