Adirondack Review

I just got an email from The Adirondack Review that they are going to publish my short story, "Sleep Walker". Story should be on their site in a few weeks. Check them out at http://www.adirondackreview.homestead.com/

They also run the Black Lawrence Press, which is accessible from their site. Buy a book from them and help out a small press. I'm going to.

Donation Opportunity

On Sunday, November 6, the Thoreau Society will begin an online auction to raise money for their cause. I have donated a copy of Into the Desperate Country to the auction, so if you've been looking to buy it, this might be your chance. Along with the novel, you will get a copy of Emergency Stopping and Other Stories and Tornado Waring (a collection of my poems). Opening bid is twelve bucks -- not bad for three signed books. Plus, you'll be helping to support a great American institution.

Check out the auction at https://www.cmarket.com/catalog/itemDetail.do?ID=a6b811da54a4a58229851940b6c9786c&cate
